The transfer belt is what makes single-pass color printing possible by collecting all four toner colors before applying them to the paper.
The ITB collects CMYK toner from the four individual drum units, aligns them perfectly, and then transfers the complete image to the paper in one pass.
If your color prints look blurry, or if you can see a "shadow" of one color trailing slightly behind the others (ghosting), your transfer belt is worn or scratched.
Located directly beneath the ITB, this roller creates the electrical charge that pulls the complete toner image off the belt and onto the paper. It should be replaced alongside the belt.
Like fusers, transfer belts have a set lifespan (usually 100k-150k pages). The printer will display a "Replace Transfer Kit" warning when the belt has reached its rotation limit.
Provide your printer model and we'll verify availability for the correct transfer belt assembly.
